A series of 4 videos in partnership with Dr. Myles Werntz, the Director of Baptist Studies at Abilene Christian University Graduate School of Theology. This course is a four video introduction to the work and language of theology for lay leaders. Myles invites participants to consider the way they are already thinking theology, and what their continued task is in community. The course includes 4 sessions total and costs $175 per church
New Testament Fundatmentals
Rev. Dr. Angela N. Parker leads a three-class discussion on the New Testament texts which introduces three distinct conversations: Contexts, Paul, Gospels/Revelation. As Dr. Parker leads these discussions, the overarching theme is to understand the development of following Jesus in the midst of living under an Empire that is counter cultural to the Jesus movement. Throughout our discussions, we will constantly return to the question of how Christians today faithfully live out their call to follow Jesus as the Messiah in today’s contemporary context.

A series of 4 videos in partnership with Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. Executive Director, Amanda Tyler, leads this series on the role and responsibilities of Baptist congregations in a democracy. The course includes the four videos and a discussion guide for study groups.

Old Testament Snapshot
What is in the Old Testament? Who wrote the Old Testament and why do we still have these writings thousands of years later? How does this part of Scripture speak to our lives today? Dr. Dave Garber speaks on all of these questions and share out of his own passion over 3 sessions in this great primer of the Old Testament.

Mysteries of Suffering
Based on the book, Evil & the Garden of Good by Page Fulgham, this course takes a pastoral and caring look at the question of suffering. Participants and invited to not only think of the suffering they have witnessed and experienced, but to ask deep questions in conversation with St. Augustine and St. Ignatius. Page Fulgham shares more in the videos and offers discussion questions for groups.
