Children and Family Ministries

As the Baugh Center for Baptist Leadership continues to focus on lay leadership in local congregations, we began an initiative specifically for leaders in children’s and family ministries. We recognize the number of people involved in these ministries and the expertise needed to effectively minister to young people with care. This initiative seeks to provide resources and training opportunities for all those engaged in this vital ministry.

Children in Church Podcast

Children in Church is limited series podcast for the lay-leaders of children’s ministry. For every Sunday School teacher, choir leader, VBS volunteer, and anyone else who works with children in church. Each will feature a conversation on a different topic to directly help you minister to families in your community.

Byte-Sized Workshops

The Baugh Center is invested in providing resources and opportunities for everyone in children’s ministry to broaden their knowledge and increase their expertise. Byte-Sized Workshops are a chance to gather (virtually) with other folks working in this ministry and discussing topics such as worship, safety, teaching, and more.
